Angel Capital Association - Luis Villalobos Award Company Application

Congratulations on your nomination for the 2026 Luis Villalobos award – granted to the most innovative ideas funded by ACA members. Two companies will be selected as category winners of the ACA Luis Villalobos Award and will be invited to attend the 2026 ACA Summit (April 21 – 23, 2026) and be honored during a special awards ceremony.

Companies in all investment sectors are considered and will be placed in one of two Category Winner opportunities. The categories are:

• Technology, Services, & Consumer: (Hardware & Software, Social Media, Web 2.0., Fintech, AgTech, etc.)
• Life Sciences (Pharma, Med devices, HealthCare IT, Digital or Mobile Health, etc.)

Please note your nominating ACA member/ angel group must also provide information to the selection committee via a separate form (the Angel Nomination).

Upcoming Dates:

• All applications are due by 5:00p Central on Friday, February 27, 2026
• A sub-set of nominated companies will be asked for a 15 minute live discussions. Applicants will be contacted to save a block of time for the week of March 16, 2026. 
  • The 2025 Luis Villalobos Award Winners will be notified by the week of March 23, 2026 for travel and experience planning.
