ACA Launches New Angel Investor Cohort at 2021 Fall Forum

ACA is launching the Inaugural New Angel Investor Cohort at this year’s Fall Forum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to support growth in early-stage capital investments.

The New Angel Investor Cohort is a six-month program powered by Melissa Bradley’s 1863 Ventures and BLK GRVTY, and it’s designed for new investors who want to explore angel investing with tools, education, and experts at their fingertips.

The ACA New Angel Investor Cohort is not currently open to the public for participation; it is by invitation only. The program is designed for people who want to contribute to job growth in their communities, have a desire to support underrepresented founders, and are passionate about mentoring innovative entrepreneurs.

The program kicks off with hands-on networking and education via the Fall Forum, where cohort members will experience ACA Angel University’s flagship Fundamentals of Angel Investing class, along with a cohort dinner and networking session with speakers and other experts.

Building on their learning after the Fall Forum, cohort members will be enrolled in three ACA Angel University courses leading up to the 2022 ACA Summit of Angel Investing. During the summit, the cohort will be introduced to attendees and speakers to increase their ability to network and syndicate deals.

Throughout the six-month program, cohort members will be interacting with experienced angel investors, gathering meaningful advice, and discussing any questions or opportunities along the way.

As the initiative grows, look for opportunities to participate, or contact Membership Director, Sarah Dickey for more information.
