- Fundamentals of Angel Investing - Tuesday, October 9: 8:00am-1:00 pm - ACA Members $155 ($130 before 9/17) and Non-Members $200 ($175 before 9/17)
This workshop, led by renowned angel educators Bill Payne of the Frontier Angels and Denise Dunlap, Loon Creek Capital, is designed for those relatively new to, or considering angel investing. The event includes a networking lunch that overlaps the ACA Southwest Regional Meeting.
- ACA Southwest Regional Meeting - Tuesday, October 9: 12:00pm-5:30pm and Wednesday, October 10: 8:00am-5:00pm - ACA Members $220 ($195 before 9/17) and Non-Members $295 ($275 before 9/17)
This meeting of investors throughout the Southwest United States provides both cutting edge information on the current state of angel investing as well as opportunities to network among angel investors in the region. (This event includes the Term Sheet Basics Workshop.)
- ACA Regional Meeting Networking Dinner - Tuesday, October 9: 7:00 - 9:00 at University Club - $85
Regional meeting attendees are encouaraged to join colleagues for a networking event. This is a great way to round out the discussion of the day and connect with your regional co-investors.
- Term Sheet Basics - Wednesday, October 10: 12:00pm - 5:00pm - ACA Members $155 ($130 before 9/17) and Non-Members $200 ($175 before 9/17)
This workshop, led by renowned angel educator Bill Payne of the Frontier Angels and Tom Curzon, Osborn Maledon, is designed to provide clear, practical information on early-stage term sheets, focused on helping newer angel investors understand deal terms. Term Sheet Basics is included as part of the ACA Southwest Regional Meeting or may be selected as a separate session.
ACA members and accredited investors from throughout the Southwest are invited for the 2018 ACA Southwest Regional Meeting. Hosted by Arizona Tech Investors, this event is focused on interactive discussions and value-add connections by investors for investors. This year's event provides access to three separate professional development sessions including ACA Education Workshops on the Fundamentals of Angel Investing, Term Sheets, and the ACA Regional Meeting. Investors will be invited to attend each and may select which to attend - or may attend all three.
