John Huston Fund for Angel Professionalism

In recognition of John’s achievements and his impacts on US and world angel investing and the central Ohio business community, Rev1Ventures (formerly TechColumbus) led the formation of the John Huston Fund for Angel Professionalism. This fund will be administered by Rev1Ventures and managed by the Angel Capital Association (ACA.) Over five years, the fund will sponsor the following ACA activities:

• Three webinars per year on the subject of driving successful exits from the boardroom.
• Two workshops per year on the topic of driving successful exits from the boardroom, one each at ACA’s annual Summit and annual Leadership Workshop.
• The creation of a new report on American angel investors: who they are, who they invest in and what they care about, that mirrors the recent UK report titled “Nation of Angels.”

This fund raised $55,000 for these ACA activities.  In early 2016, look for The American Angel campaign to begin.
