ACA member groups and the angel investors who belong to those groups have access to important services and discounts. Special highlights include:
Discounts to Seminars and Workshops
Member groups receive a 10 percent discount on seven "Power of Angel Investing" seminars and workshops, with discounts amounting from $75 to $600 per course, depending on the type of event. Some angel groups recoup the majority of their membership dues through the discount for day-long seminars. Many angel groups have held the "PAI" programs as a means of recruiting new members, increasing investment activity and participation in due diligence, and getting everyone on the same page. Discounts to ACA and Industry Events
Members of ACA angel groups and affiliate organizations receive significant discounts to the annual ACA Summit and leaders also receive invitations to attend the ACA Leaders Workshop held each Fall. This annual event is the largest gather in of angels in groups in the world and provides excellent investor education, networking, and a unique peer exchange among angel investors. In 2009 this discount was $300 off the standard event cost for the event.
Angels who are members of ACA angel groups also have access to discounts to a number of ACA regional meetings and other industry events of interest to investors.
