ACA member groups and the angel investors who belong to those groups have access to important services and discounts. Special highlights include:

Member groups receive a 10 percent discount on six “Power of Angel Investing” seminars and workshops, with discounts amounting from $75 to $600 per course, depending on the type of event. Some angel groups recoup the majority of their membership dues through the discount for day-long seminars. Many angel groups have held the “PAI” programs as a means of recruiting new members, increasing investment activity and participation in due diligence, and getting everyone on the same page. ACA has partnered with the Chubb Insurance Group and AH&T Insurance on a specially crafted coverage that has not previously been available for purchase in the marketplace. The program provides comprehensive liability insurance protection for angel investors and their investment vehicles. This program offers independent policies to ACA member angel groups and the angels who belong to the organizations at discounted rates and preferred terms than would otherwise be available. The core offerings include:

• Professional Liability

SPECIAL NOTE: The program is a new type of insurance coverage and therefore must be approved by individual state insurance regulatory agencies before it may be offered to angel organizations in that state. The program has been approved by several states, but we are awaiting approval in many others.
