ACA has arranged for a block of discounted guest rooms for ACA Summit attendees at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco hotel, where the Summit will be held.

The basic room rate is $239 per night, not including taxes. The rate includes Internet use in your rooms. The rate is available for the nights of Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th.

Hotel Registration

To receive the discounted room rate, there are two methods of registration:

Registration by either method must be made by March 25th to receive the room block discount.  The room block may end earlier than this date, as ACA registrations have been high.  Rooms for the night of April 19th may be available for on at a higher rate.  ACA is working on alternative arrangements and recommendations.

Getting to San Francisco and the Hotel

Travelers may fly into the San Francisco International Airport or Oakland International Airport and take a taxi to the hotel. Depending on traffic, it should take 30 minutes from the SFO airport to the hotel, with taxi fares from $50 to $100. ACA encourages attendees to take the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) from SFO to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Hotel, for $8.25 one-way. There is a BART station in SFO's International Terminal and the hotel is very near BART's Embarcadero station.

Logistics

We're looking forward to seeing you in San Francisco, April 17-19 at the 2013 ACA Summit. This is a quick update on the details you may find helpful before you arrive.

Where am I going? The Summit is being held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco hotel, 5 Embarcadero Center, located across the street from the Ferry Building and near great restaurants, shopping, transportation, and other San Francisco amenities. The hotel's main desk phone number is 415-788-1234.

Parking: Valet parking is available at the hotel, at $30 per day and hourly rates available for hotel guests.

What do I wear? Dress for the Summit, receptions, and affinity dinners is business casual.

When does the Summit start? The Summit starts on Wednesday, April 17 at 8:00. ACA members are invited attend the Annual Members Meeting at 4:30. The registration fee covers three-days of activities (unless you register for just one of the three days).

When is registration open? On-line registration for ACA members, angel investors, family offices and other invited guests is currently open. On-site registration will open on Wednesday, April 17 beginning at 7:00 am and will be available throughout the Summit.

Affinity Dinners: These dine-around dinners will be held after the receptions on both Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 or 7:45 PM. ACA will provide information on local restaurants and catering venues for these informal dinners. Arrangements for most dinners must be made by attendees and the costs are paid by those who attend each dinner.

When does the Summit end? The Summit wraps up on Friday afternoon at approximately 1:30 PM, although some attendees may want to stay for special interest group meetings in the afternoon.
